HELMET POLICY
WHO: Helmets are required to be worn by all Learn to Skate and CanSkate level skaters. Only those skaters who have passed Stage 5 of Canskate, and have been approved by the acting coach, can enter the ice without a helmet.
WHAT: Approved helmets are those that are CSA approved and have not exceeded expiration. The Strathroy Skating Club only allows hockey helmets to be worn on the ice, and those that are Learn to Skate and Stage 1-3 in CanSkate must have a cage on their helmets. Only those CanSkate stage 4 and up, and approved by the acting coach, can proceed to wear a CSA approved Halo as a helmet replacement.

Sponsorship Program
We are looking for local sponsors to help assist with:
CanSkate equipment and materials (rental skates, helmets, badges, ribbons, fun day materials, etc.)
StarSkate equipment and materials (rental skates, awards, team events)
Provincial level athlete grant's (Grants for each category a skater qualifies for in the Provincial Championships)
