Welcome parents and skaters!
September 6th is our official launch of our Online Registration, and we could not be more excited! Please review program info before you register!
Keep an eye out, as we will post volunteer hours needed in the upcoming week! We will need about 3 parents for each session to make this year run smoothly, so you will have lots of opportunity to get your volunteer hours in :)
We will also be looking for donations of cleaning supplies to help keep our areas clean and sanitized! Items such as Lysol wipes, Microban spray, hand sanitizer, etc., would be greatly appreciated. Bring in your reciept and we can count it towards your fundrasing!!
We are looking forward to the Fall/Winter season and seeing all our amazing skaters on the ice again!!!
Cheers,
Strathroy Skating Club
GETTING EXCITED

The countdown is on to when our first Session of the Season will start!!! We cannot wait to see all our Skaters get back to the ice after a long, overdue wait!
This will be a very different year for most of our STAR skaters, as all events in the STAR 1-4 range are all on hold until further notice. That will not stop us from having fun though. This is the year of growth for all our Skaters. Time to get back to the basics, and work on setting our goals for the year! We will still have testing throughout the season, and are hopeful for a mini showcase in December before the Christmas break!
We are excited for all our CanSkate and Learn to Skate skaters to join us this season! We will be following all the recommended Skate Ontario guidelines to make this a fun and safe environment for everyone. We will ensure a clean and sanitized space, along with physical distancing on and off the ice. We will have fun revised circuits on the ice to give your skater the optimal skating experience while following the physical distancing protocols.
Our Learn to Skate session this year will include the Parent and Tot option. If your skater is unable to stand or get up on their own without assistant, 1 parent will be required to assist their skater on the ice. The parent must be able to skate and wear a CSA approved helment (no cage required).
Welcome back, and to all the new parents and skaters, Welcome to the Strathroy Skating Club family!!!
